Zervigon International, Ltd., was incorporated in the State of Louisiana in 1990. It has earned a reputation for effective training and skillful facilitation of group deliberations with most contracts resulting from client referrals. Services are offered with an emphasis on participatory methods in both English and Spanish.

Philosophy
Services provided are client centered, ethically anchored and professionally delivered. Programs and events are usually created and delivered based on design conferences with key decision makers from the client organization. In relating to clients the company strives to be honest, honorable and discreet. With clients or program participants the knowledge, wisdom, judgment and individuality of each is honored and respected. Thorough preparation is undertaken for each particular event to assure that clients achieve the desired outcome. Finally, the principals stay informed of new developments and equipped with the best tools and methodologies in their profession.
Instructors
Carlos R. Zervigon, PMP
Carlos R. Zervigón, a graduate of Tulane University and a certified Project Management Professional, is President and co-founder of Zervigon International, Ltd., a cross disciplinary consulting firm offering services in project management, organizational development, human resource management, training, facilitation and marketing. He has had more than thirty five years of consulting experience that has taken him throughout the world. Mr. Zervigon has worked with international corporations; small and medium size businesses; federal, state, and local governments; religious bodies, boards and organizations; citizen boards and advisory committees; educational institutions; and other non profit organizations. He has developed a reputation for being able to forge a consensus in cross-cultural and divergent groups. Mr. Zervigon has often been called upon to assist in the deliberation of groups who experience themselves at a point of impasse.
In addition to consulting services he provides in-house project management seminars and other training events for numerous organizations. Courses, other than project management, have included facilitation, quality, team building and train the trainer. Mr. Zervigon has taught the Project Management Principles and Practices course more than 130 times. Eighteen of those were with one Fortune 500 company in which he trained two hundred and eighty project managers. He also teaches this course for the University of New Orleans Executive Education Program in Jamaica where he has trained over 1000 Jamaican Project Managers and in Puerto Rico. Organizations that have utilized the project management training include banks, engineering firms, the petroleum industry, offshore construction, energy, manufacturing, computer consulting, universities, governments, communications, environmental sciences and petro-chemical companies. Projects being managed by the participants include construction, maintenance, facilities, organizational change, informational systems, informational technology, new product development, telecommunications, environmental, engineering, flood control and infrastructure development.
In 2002 he served as President of the Assembly of Chapter Presidents consisting at the time of the presidents of over 200 chapters around the world.
Paul J. Rutkowski, PMP

Paul retired from Lucent Technologies in 2001 and is currently an independent consultant, educator, trainer, and professional speaker in the field of Project/Program Management. He is the principal of PMxpert Associates, and has provided professional consulting services to the BV Solutions Group, North Central College, the Keller Graduate School of Management, and the DeVry Institute, Inc. In addition, he has successfully given Project Management keynote addresses, presentations, and workshops in the North America, Central America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia/Pacific regions.
Prior to this, Paul has had 32 years of experience in the telecom and IS/IT fields with Bell Laboratories, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies located in Naperville, Illinois USA. As a Senior Manager, he has been responsible for managing hardware design, software development, and project/program management offices for telecommunications switching system products and services. Paul has also been engaged in Lucent’s Corporate Learning & Performance Center as a Curriculum Specialist in Project/Program Management. Before he retired from Lucent, he served as the sole instructor for 3-1/2 years for an intense, weeklong “Project Management Experience & Practice Workshop” delivered to Lucent employees throughout the world. In this capacity, he has taught project/program management best practices to over 800 Lucent employees in the U.S., Europe, and Asia/Pacific regions.
His contributions to the project/program management profession have received significant recognition. In 1996, Paul helped Lucent Technologies earn the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) “1996 International Project of the Year Award” for a large, complex, high-tech project called the 1B Processor. As the President of PMI’s Midwest Chapter in 1997, he was honored with the PMI “Outstanding Chapter President of the Year Award” that recognized his leadership, organizational, and management initiatives. In 1998, Paul received one of the “Top 5 Project Leadership Awards” from the Applied Business Technologies (ABT) Corporation. This prestigious award, sponsored annually by the ABT Corporation, recognizes the key contributions and top-notch talent of outstanding project/program management leaders in all of North America.
Paul is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He has been an active member of PMI since 1991 and has served on the PMI International Board of Directors (2000-2002). During that time, he was one of fifteen international PMI Directors responsible for providing global leadership and strategic direction to the Institute and to the project/program management profession. In the past, he has also served on the PMI Chicagoland Chapter’s Board of Directors as Chapter President, VP of Communications, and VP of Programs. Paul has also authored a number of papers presented at PMI, IEEE, and internal company proprietary conferences. In addition, he has delivered numerous presentations and keynote addresses at PMI chapter meetings and conferences around the world.
His educational background includes a BSEE from the University of Detroit, an MSEE from Northwestern University, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the George Washington University.
